TAMPA: WHEN PAST MEETS PRESENT
TECHNOLOGY USED: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP AND ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR
This is a poster is a visual blend of Tampa’s historic character and modern downtown Tampa, showing the past and present coming together. I integrated imagery from Ybor City, such as the streetcar, roaming chickens and brick architecture into the contemporary downtown skyline to show the different sides of the city. Additional photos of historic homes and modern-day waterfront condominiums emphasize how Tampa’s past and present coexist within just a few miles. The I Love (heart) Tampa logo incorporates colors from the city’s flag to reinforce local identity. The composition was created using Adobe Photoshop for photo placement and blending, and Adobe Illustrator for the custom logo design.
